Our Cornish Lemon Sole is hand-selected and expertly prepared by our professional team every day. All fresh fish fillets, portions, and oven-ready whole fish are vacuumed sealed, labelled, and packaged in an eco-friendly WoolCool insulated recyclable box for maximum freshness. Fish can be kept refrigerated at home between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius and eaten within 2-3 days, or frozen on the day of delivery and eaten within 3 months.

Our fresh lemon sole comes in a variety of sizes, ranging from 300g to 1kg. Smaller fish make a generous serving for one person, while larger fish are the ideal size for a delicious two-person meal.
We can fillet a whole fish for you if you prefer, though we must say that this is a fish that is best served whole. The top (dark) and bottom (white) sides of the lemon sole are used to make fillets. The thicker fillet comes from the darker side.

Fish Preparation Guide
Fillets are the most commonly used cut. The fish is taken off the bone to create a fillet which is then pin-boned. Fillets cut from larger fish can subsequently be cut into portions also known as Supremes.

Please note while every care has been taken to remove bones in fillets, there may be some remaining
Whole Oven Ready Fish:
Hand prepared in house fish is gutted and scaled, ready for cooking in the oven, BBQ or pan. Fish stays super juicy when cooked on the bone.
Cooking & Storage
Fillets are delicious pan-fried, but they're also great for stuffing with fresh herbs or delicious Portland crab and baking or steaming.
It's best to eat it right away. Refrigerate between 0°C and 5°C and consume within 2-3 days. If you won't be able to eat it within three days, freeze it on the day of delivery and eat it within three months. Refrigerate overnight to defrost. Do not refreeze.
We use a DPD Next Day courier service for all our deliveries, and we aim to dispatch orders within 48 to 72 hours of receiving them through our website. To be able to keep our shipping as eco-friendly as possible, we have a minimum order value of £30.00.
Spend over £50.00 for FREE delivery on weekday UK Mainland delivery, this offer does not apply to Saturday delivery. For all orders under £50.00 there is a small delivery charge of £2.95 to anywhere in the UK Mainland via DPD courier. For all orders that have requested Saturday delivery there is a charge of £9.95. Due to the nature of our product, we can only ship to mainland UK

All fresh products are vacuum sealed for freshness and labelled for your convenience.
